You may be an accessibility expert, but it’s likely not everyone or every team in your company has your experience and expertise. It’s also very likely that different teams or departments are at varying stages in their accessibility journey, and working across these multiple teams at different knowledge and skill levels can be both rewarding and frustrating. Lorna and Lorenzo encounter this daily at Sage, and they will share their experience and insights into how to progress efficiently and effectively while leaving no team behind. They will provide suggestions on how to generate interest in digital accessibility education and training and provide cross-team and/or cross-departmental collaboration on ideas and efforts, while also highlighting some of the challenges they encounter. This talk is for anyone who feels like their digital accessibility efforts are being scattered and stretched to accommodate and address the varying needs of teams and departments across their company or organization.
